I broke my wrist 6 weeks ago playing hockey, the cast came off 2 days ago, my wrist is stiff and very sore, what are good exersizes i can do to get the flexability back in my wrist and its the pain that im feeling normal?????? I cant turn my wrist down at all it is to painful.can anyopne help? the doc said a ball to squeeze, but I need something else to do....its alos still swollen?

I also broke my wrist playing ice hockey.
the ball is the best thing
but you can also take a can of soup and do wrist curls
lay your arm down flat on your leg in a sitting position
top of arm on top of leg,palm facing up.
so your fingers are at the top oh the knee ans your elbow is
at your hip or pocket

grip a small can of soup in the palm of your hand
and curl your closed hand up off the knee
do it slowly and gently
you can alsoturn your wrist left and right
from the center position with your arm
in the same place back of hand or fingers
on top of knee,with can of soup in hand.

you can also reverse the wrist curl
bottom of arm on top of leg palm facing down
now your whole hand is off the knee knuckles facing up.

He did not send you to physical therapy?

One that I did was to take the good hand and grasp the bad hand and bend it down, very gently. with 10 sets of ten reps

this is normal after a cast,a course of physio would be a good idea ,otherwise just use it and bend it as much as possible

You probably need to get some physical therapy.
