Thank you to the people who have answered. I am only 5 1/2 wks pregnant, the last 2 times have been 14wks & 12wks. Both times I felt very ill, the 2nd I didn't no it till the ultrasound & had to have 2 curettes to remove it, this was only 4 mths ago so I guess that's why i'm so nervous. I'll be ok, either way, thank you all for your support.

one-relax.......get off your feet and try to think good thoughts, negative thoughts aren't helping you keep this pregnancy, in each pregnancy there is slight cramping but if you bleeding alot and passing clots, it might be another miscarriage. Take your prenatal vitamins and eat right, no coffee, etc. I wish you well

Eat well & drink at least a gallon of water a day. A minumum of 75 grams of protein a day; if you're not wanting to eat much, you can get flavored protien shakes or powders. (I used to make fruit smoothies with the protein powder.) Get enough sleep and take care of yourself.
You should remember that there's only so much you can do to prevent miscarriage. A show called "In the Womb" was on the NG channel yesterday and it said that up to 50% of fertilizations (read: pregnancy) end in miscarriage. Most are just so early that the woman thinks she's just having a heavy period and never knew that, for a few weeks or days, she was pregnant. If the fertilized egg is not developing properly, sometimes the body stops the process.
Good luck.

Wow, that sounds really hard. I have a close friend who just miscarried and she's needing a lot of support from friends/family/church right now. Being scared is very natural, expecially given your history of miscarraige, but it doesn't help anything and worrying actually hurts you. My best suggestion is to think postive about this pregnancy, eat healthy and stay reasonabley active, take your prenatals, follow your doctors advice and hope for the best. I'm glad you know you'll be OK, look to your extended support group to keep you in a positive place. Best wishes!

1. No drinking
2. No smoking, no second-hand smoke
3. Pre-natal vitamins and a good varied diet (broccoli, cabbage, salads, tomatoes, carrots)
4. Lots of juices and water
5. Minimize stress in your life
6. See ob/gyn regularly
7. Stop worrying. Miscarriages happen because the implanted egg is not developing normally. Therefore, any child carried to term in this condition would be severely disabled. Isn't it better for this life to end inside of you and pass on, straight into God's arms ? We are blessed as he sees fit for us to be blessed.

God blesses us as he sees fit

If your supposed to have this baby you will, its not your call. Hope for the best and pray for strength and courage. Do what the doctor tells you and if he says stay off your feet do so!
