I'm currently studying history at university and wondered if there were any good forums or discussion sites for historians and students? Writers have writers cafe etc............so just wondered really. Any genuine answers would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey Christina,

Sure. There are many history forums. Which one to pick will be your problem. The first site has baseball, cities, ethnic, etc history. The second site covers a lot more, or so it seems. Then you will have to check out the rest. You will have to surf for hours on the last site below. It is a search with more than ten pages of history sites, with the word FORUM at least on the site.

Depends history is a vast subject mine is ancient Greeks , not to many followers of that, but you might have some luck on the university web sites, i believe there are some discussion groups , Good luck

I would just like to add, as a historian myself, that there
are several categories in History itself, like those who
study or discuss the ancient world, those who discuss the medival times, and those who discuss modern history, and I am sure there are more categories in-between. I found for you (as an example) the Medival forum:

I'd quite like to know that too actually....being a Hisotry graduate and all! Always good to have topical conversations with fellow enthusiasts-keep the old brain ticking over!
