Ask for added responsibilities. That's what I had to do, now I have too much on my plate, but don't dare complain. And if all else fails, start looking for another job in a different vocation, and you don't have to quit to do this. You can look online for jobs, in newspapers when home in the evenings, or when at stores look at bulletin boards. I'm trying that myself, only because my added responsibilities are becoming monotonous too now that I'm used to doing them.

It's a lot easier to find a job if you HAVE a job...no gaps in your resume, you know? Redo your resume, re-acquaint yourself with your strengths and attributes and get them on paper, and send them out!
Check your local newspaper classifieds for positions you are qualified to do, and look at monster.com too.
I find my job to be stressful and would love to quit, but I haven't found anything else that pays as well. So in the meantime, I am getting all of the training I can and using all of my skills so that when the next opportunity comes along, I will be ready! You can do it too!
You might also consider relocating if it's possible...some parts of the country may have more openings for your skill-set.

You should start doing something totally different, with the option of maybe creating an alternative income for yourself. You might find it re-inspires you to enjoy your job, or that you're making so much money in your new hobby that you can take it up full time.
The site below has some great inspiration along those lines.
Good luck.

Can you get some added responsibility, or replace some things you're doing with other things? Not sure how to help without knowing what you do or how many people are at your work place, etc.
