with most mp3 players you just connect it to your pc and the program should pop up. from there you can either search for music files on your pc or drag and drop the songs you want. (all depends on the kind of mp3 you have)

Plug in your mp3 player. Go to My Computer. Then you should either see a "Drive E" or Drive F" and click on them. Then, just drag the songs to that folder and they should upload to your mp3 player.

if you're using an ipod, u need to download iTunes at their site.
if you're not, most mp3 players are just drag and drop. u may download songs or rip cd then copy paste in the folder. connect your player via usb then a window will open, u may click "open folder to view files" or u may just open my computer and u'll see "removable disk" click that then copy from the folder u saved your songs then paste in the removable disk folder.
hope this helps! cheers ;)

Well if you have an Ipod
1.) You need to go to:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
to download itunes.
2.) You can search for music u like, but when u click buy
you will have to have a credit card or paypal account
to purchase music. (note: you need to register a credit card, before using itunes, just in case you accidentaly go over limit.)
3.) use your screename & password to purchase music
4.) let the music download
5.) Go to your itunes music libary & click the songs with check marks on which ones you want to play on your ipod.
6.) plug in your ipod with the usb cord.
7.) It will upload music automaticly.
8.) You can also listen to just itunes on your com if you like, and then ipod on the go. (it will save your battery life.)
