We are already changing the DNA structure of both our brains and our bodies. People are becoming less black, white, yellow and red and becoming more varying shades of brown as interracial coupling become predominent. Also, the brain is changing, some for the better, most in my perception, for the worst. In a thousand years, it is difficult to say. The next 100 we will probably have a horrible war as we have already begun the process. Read any religious reading and you will see the beginning of the end as we know it today. Then, once ended, if as promised, life will be more beautiful than ever.

One option would be that in a 1000 years, everyone has gotten very wise, stopped polluting and gone back to the simple life. Although technology would be available, it would only be used if necessary. But I have the feeling that this could be possible only after some kind of environmental catastrophe of a global extent, and almost the whole population of Earth having been wiped out. Those remaining would then have built up a different society than before: one without states, paid jobs, consumerism and defintely, without weapons. Utopia? Maybe. But maybe not!

I guess we will either continue changing- like the Neanderthals have changed into us, invent some cool things and stuff, and eventually become extinct, but not too soon.
