No stats or hard evidence, just my observation that 2/3 of the people smoking outside the pubs now are female That's all

I think one of the main reason women smoke is because it stops them eating too much. So can keep them slim.
Another reason maybe that they see it as an independence statement. But I think they have missed the boat on that one as it tends to make some one look weak

Trying to stay sane , only think that i can use to get rid of my frustration. I will rather smoke and harm myself than hit walls, burn down houses or take it out on innocent people. Some men drive you mad .

am not sure if your stats are right, but i know what you mean, mayby its sumthing to do with stress i think woman are more stressed with everyday life than men, i mean with there period's and looking after kids you know sum things like that so smoking give's them there moment of stress relese,

but i have given up now and have been fagless now for 8 weeks and feel grrreat

where is your evidence? statistics? do you think there might be something else (vice or bad habit) that men are more inclined towards, other than smoking? or are you just biased? or are you a misogynist?

in some ways, id say so. guys can let go of things, but girls cant..they worry and think so therefore, they need something to calm their nerves =)
