Earth girls are easy!! I'm sorry but that movie was a waste of Geena Davis and Jeff Goldblum
talents it was o.k. with Jim Carrey in it because it was comedy but I expected more from Geena and Jeff.

Of these two, Earth Girls Are Easy is obviously the worst. It was a really DUMB movie. War of the Worlds (Tom Cruise version) may have not quite lived up to the hype but was an OK movie.

"Earth Girls" was intentionally stupid, which is mildly funny, but "War of the Worlds" was offensive. It really gripes me when Hollywood morons see fit to take classic literature and alter it to suit their own preferences. If they think they can write better stories than H.G. Wells, let them come up with their own ideas.
(They often do the same thing with historical facts--"change" the facts to suit their own ideas of what the truth "should" be.)
Besides I really resent how the content of "WOTW" was altered to give a platform to Tom Cruise's Scientology beliefs.
