NH group of hotels, de duc la victoria. 3 mins off Ramblas. Clean, comfy, safe, resteraunt, old exterior quaint building, modern interior, lovely rooms and bathrooms, Its not for rif raf or rowdys though, great spot, well recommend this one.

I will say any two stars hotel, they have the basics and are cheap...

You should check www.booking.com, there you can find a hotel that will adjust your needs
