hello. i have this game. in fact i got it for my pc especially to help me learn more about the NFL football scene. I have not been brave enough to play a full on game as yet though. what I want to know is

1. can you choose which player to control when either offence or defence?
2. are the joypad controls easy to master - how long did it take you to learn them all without checking?
3. once you get to understand the game, controls etc, is it really enjoyable experience playing this game?

I will invest lots of time in study of it so long as i know it will pay off in the end.

what is mister roy jones talking about?
sounds like someone had a few too many hits

anyway madden is awesome...it does take some time to get down but once you do its tons of fun
you can choose any player you want to control on defense, and on offense you're better off just being whoever has the ball

My husband is not a video-game guy, BUT, he has been buying and playing Madden football every single year since 1992...along the way it has even helped me understand football better...I can even name a few players off of every team now, lol...so in our experience, it would certainly be worth your effort. Good luck with your research!

the facts of life, my friend. video games are like pie, you eat one piece and the rest of the world follows in. its amazing how sometimes video games can dictate your outlook on school. sometimes you just need to put in place your attitude towards night and day rather than picking which player, 1 or 2, you would like. it's not about eating rice and pie, but sometimes playing a good hard game of phone tag works wonders during a stressful day. the mere idea of the end of time indicates your not ready for the play of the guards. maybe your "madden" experiences can translate success for yourself.
