Boot disk failure means your hard drive has problems and cannot start on its own.

A system disk is a disk with an operating system on it, like Windows or Linux. Most computers come with system disks (or backups).

Windows costs about $100 if you don't have a copy laying around.

If there is no information on your computer that is vital, you might consider just reformatting it and starting from scratch with a new Windows installation. Secondly, unless you recently put magnets near your computer, you might consider buying a new hard drive, as the one you have has issues.

Did you leave the floppy in the floppy drive?

System disks are at http://bootdisc.com and http://ubcd.com for the CD that boots computers.

I run the LiveCDrom that boots the computer, tests everything, and even includes 1900 games, programs, apps. suites, browsers, etc...

see if there is a floppy in your floppy drive. if so, remove it.
If this doesn't help, it may be that your hard drive has quit being recognized. you may end up buying a new hard drive, and re-loading from scratch.
