This is an easy one.

A) Most Bush bashers are typically fairly liberal. These type of people generally have a disdain for any republicans or even conservative democrats as it is.

B) To top it off there has been a MASSIVE investment by extremely rich liberal socialists to start grass roots movements amoung young (and typically very ignorant) Americans. From 2000 and on young people have been involved in politics at unprecedented levels.

C) Media involvement. The media outlets all make their money off news for which most Americans agree that news in todays age is primarily negative. Plain and simple... why would the media (who is typically democratic) report or support positive outlooks of a president who they didn't vote for and don't agree with? This can be easily identified by the growth of American economy over the past few years. There was a largely negative outlook from the media outlets on record jobs created and growth in the economy. While facts were obvious the media still continued to propegate negative impressions.

D) Last but not least - the Iraq war. While now it is easy to go back and see we probably should not have gone the route of invading Iraq it has recently become a situation that has slapped reality in Americans faces that this is not going to be an easy problem to fix. Most Americans view the Iraq was as Bush's war even though the majority of high level politicians (democrat and republican) supported the invasion. Most left wing liberals will say this is because of false information all the while they were privy to the same info as the president.

Either way... I really don't have a problem with Bush bashing or criticizing any other politician however when the rhetoric sounds more like Hugo Chavez comments you start to lose credit with most reasonable Americans. The other problem with Bush bashing is that GW will soon be out of office for which the exterme liberal left will have to refocus their hatred on someone else. My guess is they WILL do this to the next prominent republican which will no doubt be premature and expose the obvious. The OBVIOUS is media bias for negative information (regardless of who it is about) and large finance by extremely left socialist liberals.

Because its so much fun and he's so bashable (if there is such a word). Just look at all the mistakes he makes when he speaks - the mispronounced words and garbled syntax. That alone is enough to give comedians a lifetime's worth of jokes. Add to that all the bonehead things he's done - war with Iraq under false pretenses - and is it any wonder that everyone enjoys bashing the poor, dumb fool?

If you define "bushbashing" as criticism of Bush, well, that's our duty, to point it out when someone who works for us as our president is doing a bad job.

Why, did you get reprimanded for it? If honestly particularly everyone that printed some difficulty 'suggestive' have been given booted off, the finished Q&A could be close down! probably you in all probability did not understand there are toddlers 13 years previous at right here - even nonetheless they think of of they understand each and each little difficulty, they don't. We do would choose to be careful.

It's not a matter of "bashing" as much as it is a sense of frustration and helplessness. Bush wanted to be a good president but he has failed. One of his favorite sayings is that it is his job to "protect the American people." Except he fails to look any further than the tip of his nose. Because as a result of his actions, the "American" people will be watching their backs for a long time to come.
One of his most thoughtless statements had to do with the Iraq war. The Iraq war is his legacy. But he is leaving it for the next president to deal with? But why? Who started this mess anyway. Such a statement simply underscores his inadequacies.
I haven't "bashed" this man. I've simply told it like it is.

When your approval rating is sub 40%, isn't it obvious?

When the majority of any group is unsatisfied, you hear more negatives than positives.

This has little to do with "liberals being mean", unless you think a vast majority of the country is liberal.

If you want to get into who is the "meanest", I believe the Karl Rove republicans have this down to a science. Seriously, even within their own ranks they're "mean" (recall how McCain was slandered by his own party by alluding that he fathered a black child).

Neither side is respectable in this regard. In fact, both sides irritate me because instead of having constructive discussion about issues they use cheap tactics to try to incite emotion.

Sort of like this question.

There's a group of people in this country that simply cannot help themselves when it comes to crying and whining. These morons need an object for their FEELings of inadequacy and angst and are lead by people who should know better to focus their FEELings onto political figures. Since this brigade of the dazed and confused are left to far-left wingers they naturally focus on Republican politicians. This phenomena has been observed for at least the last forty years and, given the country's steady march to the right during that time, is remarkably persistent. I put it down to poor genetic makeup but there are other theories that should be considered as well.

Bushbashing? You mean Bush bashing? The president has been the one doing the bashing... mainly to the American public!

There really is no point now, he's a lame duck. But people often bash what they want to appear as bad to others. Probably to make themselves look better at the expense of Bush. But really, Bush has done quite a bit to make himself look bad on his own. Conservatives see him as sucking-up to Libs. Libs see him as being at fault for numerous failures. No one likes him anymore really.
