As a Scotsman ( living in Scotland) i'd have to say no. We don't want it either!!
It's rubbish. Unless you are drunk, of course. For instance I am typing this at 3.58 pm and it's pitch black outside.
BUT - for a few weeks every year, during the summer- Scotland IS magical.

Only if a significant majority of Scots want it, and back independence in a referrendum. Which they almost certainly will not. England and Scotland (and Cymru) have profitted greatly by being united, despite the gripes and moans from some on either side of the border. Look where Scotland (and to a lesser degree Enland) was before we joined, then look at how the UK rose afterwards!

Being Scottish myself, its a hard question. Over the years we have bonded with our slave....umm, compatriots from the south and I believe it would be rather hard for them to exist on their own now. Even with revenue gathered from beef, whiskey, computers etc its still difficult. The real thing we should do is get rid of all the parliments and centralise right in the centre of Britain. That way even though Parliment will still be in England it will be seperated from London which has always been the centre of English dominance...symbols speak louder than words!
But I think the Scottish people would take back Scotland...myself I hope not.

We Scots came from Ireland! Can we have that back? That's the problem with trying to turn the clock back, where do you stop? Time to look forwards, not back.

Scotland belongs to the Scottish, not anyone else!
They only want to FULLY rule in their own Scottish Parliament, without interference from London.

Who do you think Scotland belongs to? Are you English by any chance? We Scots belong to ourselves, and our country is the most brilliant country on the planet! Which is why people like you want to think you own it! Oh you make me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well OK Independence might work but what about the Armed Forces etc. What would happen there?
