Some people who are very empathetic [towards others] seem to actually feel the others pain, sadness, happiness and other emotions strongly. So you might just be one of them. It's ok to cry every now and then. It's almost impossible not to feel sad when you begin to read or watch [on tv] all the bad things in the world. Big or small. You just got to remember that things will always get better..... all things take time to heal :) If you ever feel like your going to be very emotional ..... excuse yourself and cry in private. When your at work go to the bathroom, your car or office (if you have one) That way you can still cry without feeling like a complete idiot.
Inner strength is something you will always have with you. Might just have to work on it but it's still there. How were you able to raise children without it! :D If you do want to build on inner strength you can pray (if you believe in prayer) ..... meditate to help keep you grounded, smile at a stranger (even if they don't smile back) and read a book about dealing with your emotions. There are many books out there about it [but i cant think of one at the moment]. You just need to find creative ways to express those emotions. Creative outlets for you to try ... learn to play an instrument, take an art class, learn to draw, write in a journal [diary], sing along to your favorite songs, dance, or join a worthy cause. All I’m saying is learn something new. Learn a new way to give voice to your emotions :D The possibilities for expressing yourself is endless! If nothing works .... you might need a little bit of counseling :) There's still hope so don't give up!

Why its a beautiful thing I use to cry allot but after to more than a full list of life changing events Example loosing everything literally getting in a fight got messed up bad loosing most of my friends because of it. And now the biggest mistake left it all to start a new life 700 miles away but all my problems where waiting for me when I got here except now I have to face them on my own. I fixed the damage to my body and the scars are starting to go away but the cold numb feeling remains. Emotions are a good thing Over doing it is better than none I expect no pitty I am just opening your eyes to the other side of the coin. Be who you are I love my family they way they are good, bad or different that is what family is. I assume your family is the same even if it is not communicated. So what that means is if you are happy with you and your family is happy with you and you live a good life does it really matter what anyone else thinks?

Sounds like a case of depression. Some people like myself suffer from depression that is long term. I have simular issues, tend to cry when I'm talking about something emotional. See a psychiatrist and look into getting on an anti depressant. My depression started when I was 19, lost my grandfather, dog, girlfriend moved away, brother joined the navy and left the house, sister moved to California, all in the same year. I went into a state of depression and to this day I'm 36, I've been off and on anti depressants. My problem is I quit taking them when I feel better. You shouldn't. You just fall back into the same ruts.
It's called deep supressed depression.

I wouldn't advise you to check your tears. Because it is neither stupidity nor an indication of your inner weakness. It is in your nature to give vent to unpleasant feelings through tears. At most you are highly emotional. But shedding tears do help you unburden yourself mentally and is also good for your health. If you thought that locking up emotions forcibly was a sign of mental strength, you are wrong. In fact it is very depressing and acts adversely on a person's mind and health. However, I would advise you to read the Bhagwad Geeta and practice Yoga, as these are verifiably known to build man's inner strength.

Hello Dear,
Please understand that you are not SUFFERING from a PROBLEM,but you are EXPERIENCING a GIFT given by God. Such people are very rare nowadays, may be one out of a million. Feeling sympathy for the fellow beings is a good humane quality and there is nothing to worry about or nothing unnatural in it. Believe in God and pray to God often. Pray for others. Visit and help the poor and the deprived. Visit orphanages and spend time with the inmates. You are a person who is very near to Divinity. Best wishes. Though I don't know who you are, I will pray for you.

I don't know if I can help, I'm in the same boat. I always cry if I see someone else cry. The only methods that works for me are to remove myself from the area for a second, thinking of something else, distracting myself. But that is not always an available option. good luck.

its really a gift for u to express your emotions. many of us even me try to control or act before our fellow friends. Dont think of any one. take everything in a positive manner. wake up early in the morning before sunrise, best time 4.30 am, and do physical exercise and meditation, and enjoy evey pain and gain u come across. Then this world will look very beautiful. Never complaint on any one, just take suggetions and stick to the best. There is nothing impossible in this world. u are the hero.... Go rock yourself

Echo renowned human being is sweet. such issues as "nuclear submarines" are the volume of human stupidity. it really is so ironic too, we paintings so tricky as a species, daily we war, and for what? to have (different) gadgets that could wreck each thing we spent over 5000 years operating for promptly away? that's humorous reason we then turn round and say that those gadgets and those who lead them to are holding us (each person else be conscious that contradiction?). i comprehend Freud has been discredited, notwithstanding the life-demise force makes an excellent type of expertise, in this context fantastically.

work outside of the office experience the good life. there is nothing wrong with crying at all and after thinking deeply about something that makes you sad it wont bother you as much. try something different in your life like skydiving or scuba diving or something. enjoy the finer things and life to find your inner strength.

guru"s answer is telling.....
You are so good and you NEED NOT to feel bad about it ...how can we not care for death of a childern....somewhere far off place...IF we REALLY CARE FOR OUR OWN CHILDERN....?
mind is very sensitive....it is a tool only...like hand brain and kiddny.....but sensitive......but we are not that ...these are part of us....
....just think about your face ...why it is unique?....we are conected with everything.....give the mind it's due...but do't try to fathom everything by mind...it will be futile.....
our life is so beautifull and we are not to pay anything for our life....it is a gift of god ...( or gift of nature ...?)so be happy ....go silent and you will understand many things which are possible for a silent and sensitive mind....be sensitive but need not be reactive ....let people and beasts die ...observe ...let the water flow ...or who going to weep for the follies of our so called civelized -modern-liveing with so much bloodsheading.
..being social animal i am enjoing all the benifit of society's progress....so in a sense i have to cry for myself....i am part of the problem....why cry?...it is a symptom only ...it shows i am aware of ....from the awareness only i can understand...understanding fulluy is what is needed...not half cooked reactions....(..all reactions are leading to more reactions..and goes these madness )
...this side of the hemissper people spend money to get fair colour..but on that side people spend to get darker .....it is ok ...but you see totally...then you start to understand....
be happy (spelling check is not working...sorry)
