The Internet is a wonderful sales channel that is growing every day whether you're interested in selling items to households, business, government or schools...
There are certain products that really work well with the Internet and some that don't.
The biggest reason that some don't is that they just don't generate enough profit for each item sold.
For example... You might be able to sell pink widgets on the Internet but you only make a dollar on each item sold. You would have to sell a boat load in order to make any money above and beyond your cost.
I think the biggest reason is that people look at the Internet like a hobby job and that just isn't so. You need to constantly optimize your web sites to make sure that they are current and appearing in the search engines, etc. There is nothing more frustrating than searching on line for a particular product, finally finding it and not being able to get a response from the Internet site. Emails have to be answered quickly and accurately. You need the infrastructure behind your web site to handle all of the customer service, accounting and other functions.
An on-line business can be more work than owning a brick and mortar but you reach the world instead of a neighborhood.

I'd would want to know: "Is there a market for the goods I want to sell online?" Then I'd contact or join the nearest Business Link group for advice on setting up a small online business! Start small and don't overstretch the finances too much. You could test the market by selling on Ebay and see how things go. well the first thing i would look at is finance it can cost you alot of money. ~D oa business plan first contact different companies collate their costs and then decide which works best for you interms of budget remember avopid debt like the plagu do not get your slef into thast situation i did and it nearly ruined me . Also have a chat with the business manager at your bank remember money is the key overidding factor in all of this make no question about this.

Develop a burning desire inside yourself and then commit to yourself to do whatever is needed to accomplish that desire.
Find a business that you can make money and something people will want to buy from you.
