I am originally from England and in England and Europe on a whole interracial dating is not frown upon....in fact people do not care. Since moving here (USA), it seems that most people think it is inappropriate. To be more specific - a black/African-American dating a White/Caucasian is wrong!?! I interracially date and people scream nasty blurbs at me and my date. Why is okay for Asian and Latinos to date whites/Caucasians, but not black/African-Americans to do so? After all aren't we all human beings? Isn't life too short not to be happy?

I don't think it's inappropriate, and no one I know does, but I have seen what you speak of. I think the big divide in the U.S. comes from referrence to the slave days. I know the U.S. isn't the only place to have slaves, but for some reason it was/is very difficult for people to move beyond it here. It is unfortunate it is ever an issue.

Things are different across cultures. I'm a Black American and have always dated White Europeans. For some reason, it's just the direction I tend to go in. Even the Black girls I've dated have been from Europe, or from elsewhere. It's all kind of funny. I've lived in France. While you can be black there, and date who you want without a hassle, they will never consider you as a fellow countryman. A real "frenchman". Even if you were born there. Here, we consider all types to be "American", but frown on interracial dating in "some" areas. My best advice is to just "blow em off". Odds are you and your mate are probably a hot, attention getting couple and they're all just jealous.........:)

All relationship web pages are enormously plenty divided into 2 varieties: those that may charge you some fee and the loose ones. i'd ward off utilising paid ones as they are no extra effective than loose ones. try searching for some loose interracial ones on yahoo and that i'm specific you will discover lot of loose information superhighway web pages.

Most people here in the US are not like that. It all depends on what part of the country you are in, some parts are not tolerant to that but, others are very accepting.

Some people in America are still stuck in their old ways. But there are many who are fine with it. you shouldn't worry about other people and do what makes you happy. You can't please everyone, expecially in America. Many of them think it's only a free country for them and their beliefs.

When I see a black guy with a white girl, I usually think:

1. She's a ho.
2. He's stuck up.
3. How gross.
