How can I apply password to a MS-Word Document?

Open the Word Document,
then Hit Tools,
then Protect Document,
Form
then Put in a password (Remember you only get one try to get it right so don't type in the wrong one) If you do don't save the changes...
This doesn't keep people from open it just from changing it.
