this player isnt really similar to ipods, but in my opinion its cooler. funnily enough, though, im asking for an ipod. lol. i found one at best buy and they advertise them in the "fergalicious" music video. im not sure what its called, but its black, it slides out to reveal a big speaker, and it is completely touch operated. i didnt find a single push button excluding maybe power or hold. im sorry i dont know the name, but if you watch that video you will know what they look like and then you can go to best buy for one. iRiver is also very good with mp3 players. theirs are super compact. i took my brother's on a school field trip to washington d.c. and it was great. theyve even got this nifty feature where you can speed up the music or slow it down to make the voices sound like either elves or [insert deep-voiced object here]. thats always fun.

I suggest going with SanDisk's lineup of video, music, and photos MP3 players. They also come with a built-in voice recorder and FM radio. They come in 2, 4 ,6, and 8 GB versions. Check em out. they also have an expandable memory slot for SD or Flash cards(depending on which one you get) and rechargeable battery.

I pods look cool, but they're somewhat inconvenient to use. Especially I hate it when I put music files into it via the I-tune. Couldn't they make it normal to put file in and out like just a portable hard drive?
One of my friend uses I-river.. it's also cool and easier ... worth trying.
good luck.

I love my nano, but there are plenty of mp3 players. Check ebay for one you like, remember the name, then search for it on Yahoo. You'll probably get to the website.
Or check out best buy.
