hi,I am in usa now. i am finding all goods costlier here and they are available in india. Pl. tell me if some goods i can buy here that are worth its cost.

Your observations about everything in USA being costly is superficial. Settle down properly, observe the wage levels , compare them with wages for corresponding levels in India, determine the purchase power of those wages and then arrive at what products or crops are costlier than in India. For Example. a daily wage level of two dollars is poverty level in USA, but it will support a family of two above poverty line in India. I think Wheat and Petroleum products in US are cheaper by the yardstick I gave above. You will be surprised to find more such cases.

Aren't you planning to stay in USA for a longer duration? If no, please spend only on basic items for sustenance like food, travel & stay.
If you wanna stay for long, stop comparing immediately. You would end up nowhere.
At the same time, should you return to India for a break, take some basic utensils like pressure cooker, Kadai etc and a stock of Rice, Dals and dry spices. Cooking ur self would be economical, suitable for the taste & healthier. Also try & share your accommodation. All the Best friend...

Seriously, I don't know. It's sort of an economy thing -- stuff WILL get more expensive in India as it becomes wealthier. Enjoy your cost of living while you can.
Part of what you are paying for in the US is some of the hidden infrastructure and services -- taxes and fees that end up paying for reliable electricity, social security, and health care for the poor and elderly.
