The windows vista is really cool but the major donwside is the price. But it comes with added features like IE7, WINDOWS MAIL instead of OUTLOOK EXPRESS. Also there is added security features. You will also need a faster processor(1.53mhz),1GB ram,40GB HDD.There are 7 versions of the VISTA with ULTIMATE version being the costliest. But WINXP is good enough.

Vista has some great stuff! and looks fantastic

originally they were thinking about monhtly billing for it!! but they scrapped that idea thank god!!!

as all micromonopoly stuff it will cost but....

the interface is pretty cool

Look for beta versions of it out their split yerr HD to boot, its nice and the new office is very pretty too

not just looks either, it functional and intuitive, but like everything it takes time to get used to

personally i like change

unfortunately for nerds like me it doesnt support many games yet

I've just bought a valid copy of XP Pro so I'll leave it for now until all the usual bugs have been sorted and the price drops.
