Experiment: Salt crystals
take a quarter cup of water. then add in table salt until the solution is saturated. then tie a string to the pencil, have the pencil rest on the cup so that the string gets to the salty water. leave the water to dry up. You'll see salt crystals forming.
You can try with other salt such as copper sulphate, iron sulphate, etc. They yield different shapes of crystals


Experiment: Volcanoes under water
fill a cup with water and oil. Then chuck full teaspoons of salt into the mixture. This is only an experiment to observe the effects of density of oil.


Experiment:
Get a bottle or container with an opening that is about the size of the circumference of an egg but too small for the egg to fit in.

Prepare a hard boiled egg, matches and some papers to burn. Light the paper and put it inti the bottle. Immediately, but carefully, put the egg on the opening of the bottle. Watch the egg sqeeze itself in.

You can build a Tesla Coil. It's not very complicated once you got the hang of it. Just search with Yahoo! tesla coilsand there will be tons of sites. Or you can build a catapult that's what i did. It throws a tennis ball almost 30 feet away.

Try this but be careful.

Microwave a glass of water for 10 minutes

Take it out.

Drop a grain of coffee or some other small particle.

The water will boil vigorously.
