I don't see why not. But he might feel wierd recieving flowers from a girl. Us guys have been taught from a young age that we must give girls flowers. He might look at you weird and laugh so don't take that personally. If it is a gift you want to give him find out what his interests are and go from there.

No A flower is ok. One single flower. or three real small flowers. We do not ever want to be seen accepting a bouquet of flowers from our girlfriend. That would be wierd and embarrasing. for me at least.

flowers tell the feelings of the heart and doesnot habour any ill feelings of gender bias!

While untraditional I think as long as he fits in to the category of metro-sexual it should be fine. Otherwise I would search for something a little more masculine.
