Well, Deux. In a way. it was a spin off. No matter if the character rarely appeared on the show. Now if you mean that Mike Judge wasnt involved on the show "Daria". So which is why its still a spin off in a way.
Last time i seen Daria was on "The N" on Noggin when i had digital cable at one point of my life. I really liked the show indeed. Just didnt like how it ended. And some of the characters were a tad annoying *hates valley girls*.
But this was sometime ago. And last i checked when it was usually on. It got replaced by more "degrassi". *bleh!*. So it may just be gone now. Now, the DVD question. I sure havent heard anything about something like that. But then again, i didnt know that there was "The Critic" DVD set being out for sometime. So just try finding it on Ebay. If you see nothing but bootleg looking auctions. Then its most likely its not on official DVD yet.

It was on the 10 Spot for MTV
By most assessments, the main reason for the show's failure to obtain a DVD release is the licensing problems associated with the hundreds of pop songs the series used over its five-year run.
However, in July 2004, fan Michelle Klein-Hass reported that MTV was currently investigating options for a DVD release of more Daria episodes; she quoted co-creator Glenn Eichler as saying: "[T]here's no distributor and no release date but what there is, is very strong interest from MTV in putting Daria out, and steady activity toward making that a reality."

First of all, to the moron who said that Daria is a spinoff of Beavis and Butthead, you're an idiot - Daria has nothing to do with Beavis and Butthead. Secondly, yeah, I remember it, it was on MTV, and no, unfortunately there is no dvd collection as of yet.
