Dattebayo Fansubs LLC was proud to announce today that it has decided to officially pick up the currently in progress season of "Pokemon Diamond & Pearl".

Pokemon Diamond & Pearl is the newest installment of the overwhelmingly popular Pokemon series. This show once again stars Satoshi, a young Pokemon trainer attempting to make his mark on the world while continuing to fiercely train his Pokemon, and simultaneously battling the evils he encounters along the way.

Due to the enomity of this project, and the limited resources at the disposal of Dattebayo Fansubs LLC, it was decided that the best course of action was to drop* the show Naruto. Declining profit margins and recent increases in production costs have made the release of this product impossible to maintain.

We hope that fans will be understanding in this time of transition and will share in our excitement about this fabulous new presentation.

Naruto is not being dropped by Dattebayo. Note the asterisks after each "dropped" and the *YHBT at the bottom of the page. It means "You Have Been Trolled".

No naruto aired this week in Japan. Dattebayo will resume its normal schedule next week.

This is all just a joke. They aren't dropping Naruto. At the end of the press release it had YHBT which means "You Have Been Trolled" There was No Naruto this week, so they are just kidding. I doubt they would seriously drop Naruto when the fillerswill end in Feburay (Proven by Weekly Shonen Jump) But it would be nice if they picked up Pokemon DP and dropped Pythagoras Switch. At least when Pokemon gets to Gym Battles and Elite Four tournaments, the action is cool.

I've answered this question so many times i've lost count. Nope. They aren't stopping. Look at the bottom of the article where they say they are dropping it. You see, YHBT.
That means You Have Been Trolled. It's just Dattebayo having fun and pulling their usual pranks.

dattebayo may have been one of the fastest and most reliable fansub groups around as of the past year or so, but they werent the highest quality, and most of all they seem to absolutely deteste their viewers. The trolls they put out are pretty funny usualy, and Im sure this is just another joke at the expense of the common viewer who falls for all those "not211.torrent" files. I mean pokemon? c'mon

Dattebayo always plays jokes. I hope another company comes and takes the place of them, because they always play some crazy prank. I just want to watch the anime, I wish they will stop being so immature.

Dattebayo is jsut toying with us. They are definitely not going to stop subbing Naruto (cause they're not that stupid), but they are going to pick up Pokemon Diamond Pearl.

My best bet is that it is just another one of Dattebayo's joke whenever naruto is not showing, just like them releasing trolls or fake-subs.

that means they were joking so itsz probably a joke to scare viewers. although we cant keep depending on them(dattebayo) for too much. anyone know anyother fansubs that sub naruto?

Well I can guess why. Its because that the Naruto fillers havent freakin stopped. Its the reason why of this decline. And now we naruto fans have to suffer with yet another Pokemon series.

It dont matter now. there's still another fansub service that subs it. So i dont have to worry not that much when the fillers are over.
