Not unless you had save IMs turned on. To check this go to Messenger, Preferences and Archives. Turn it on there. But too late for yesterday, let alone a year.

Yahoo! doesn't archive chat messages from what I understand. The only way you can pull old conversations is if you have Archives activated in Yahoo! Messenger. From the main window, go to Contacts > Message Archives and hope they're in there. :)
