right now i work in the Business department for the Veterans hospital, but i want to get out. I was in the army before this, so i wearing a uniform is ok with me. So do you think i should be a park ranger? Just taking a poll.

That would get you out into nature...and might be a good option...I would look into the basics of pay scale, benefits, etc and were you might be based.
One word of precaution...look out for Yogi and Boo Boo they might just steal all the campers pic-a nic baskets! LOL Good luck!

Lol ! Park rangers stay in a tiny log cabin and could stay interior the park in any respect circumstances...meaning 24 hour surveillance of all happenings in that park. If park rangers weren't there surveying the park each and all the time then I worry that our parks would substitute into overrun with the aid of the bears. Park rangers could by no ability marry! it somewhat is their sole life accountability to combat the bears.

being a park ranger is a good job if you like it. you don't mention like being outdoors, like working with people, like perhaps some isolation (depending on park you end up in). you just say you don't mind wearing a uniform. you need to look into what a park ranger does, what is expected of them, what training they need, if you can you should even talk with some. then decide.
