Most people who have outstanding warrants get caught when they get pulled over for minor traffic violations. The ID card has nothing to do with your issue.

You need to take care of your outstanding warrant, no matter the state it's from, and then worry about ID's and traveling to other states. Ignoring this will only hurt you more in the future.

Yes, if they run any kind of background check or federal check. Typically for driver's license or any form of official ID there will be a background check run, and that might prove to be a problem for you.
