Nope.
1. You can't make someone love you. We're powerful but not that powerful.
2. You'll be violating the Harm None law if you try because you're trying to make him do something against his will.
3. If you want a spell to work, don't take the spell from other people. It has to come from YOU. It has to be created by YOU.

proabably not, honestly magic is not about simply "following a recipe"... There is alot more to it than that. Votives can burn for up to 5 hours. Can you sit & meditate for 5 hours without getting distracted? This simple little "spell" is simply a prayer, there are quite a few pieces missing for it to be actual spell work. First thing to successful spell work is learning how to ground & center, then learning the witches pyramid... learning how to raise energy & direct it into the candle so that there is actually a charge behind the intent, dressing the candle with the proper oils & herbs to enhance the potencey. Phase of the moon or other astrological correspondences are not even mentioned... doing this at the wrong phase of the moon could actually make you even more invisible to him. Your best bet is to just say hi, strike up a conversation, try music or video games, interests, sports, tv shows... once you find something you have in common and you get to know each other then tell him you have feelings for him. If you are already friends, TELL HIM it will not ruin your life or your friendship!!! If you don't tell him, and he never finds out ...you will always wonder "what if"... that is what will ruin your life... also... playing with magic can at the very least give you a swift kick in the rear... for something that could have been easily remedied by just talking to him. If you are HEL-BENT on magic for this guy, try some work on your self, spells to boost your self esteem, spells to give you the courage to talk to him, a spell to help enhance your natural beauty the day you decide to tell him... those would better serve you ... much better then this lack-luster half-assed spell here...

First of all this is a decent site for decent spells. Go ahead and try it, but keep the rule I have everytime you are dealing with magic: "be skeptical". Remain positive, and it will more than likely happen. Still, the fates have thier own way of working things out. Do not do this if you are expecting it to go *poof* and there he is. As far as the rede goes, please click on the link below for some ACTUAL insight on it.
As far as the tealight candle: I don' know. I would rather use an actual spell candle or chime candle for this kinda stuff. Click on the Pagan Peddler link for some great candles at an unbelievable price! They can get you what you need.
Keep your faith, don't let anyone tell how you should do things when it comes to magic, and own up to what you do with magic.

If you're worried about what kind of candle to use, step back. You're looking at things far too mechanically.
And I have to agree with the person above--a spell like this, directed at someone else without their knowledge, is not good. I have performed rituals to strengthen my bond with my significant other, but he's fully aware of it, and I'm not "capturing" anyone--he's already here.
I'd suggest simply a general love spell to allow the universe to bring you together with someone you should be with, not who you *think* you should be with. (I performed one and ended up with someone I never thought I'd ever be interested in, and two years later I am very glad that I did...)

I dont think it should be done it is infringing on anothers free will. You must get permission from the one you are doing the spell for even if it is a healing spell.

AAAAHHHHH.
Run away. Run far, far, far away.
First - spells written by others aren't as powerful as those you write yourself, because it's not just a question of "Read the words and poof it's done" - there's energy and intent and will involved.
Second - Why the hell would you want to do that to someone that you claim to love? Why would you screw with his free will, with his head, with his emotions?
"With harm to none" my as$ - as soon as you say things like "from me you will not part" you're taking away his free will and you're HARMING him.

*grins and kicks back* I'm all for telling you to do it, ignore what they say. If you want him, want him badly enough to try something like that, then do it.
Harm none, we have free will within our fates. and he is the boy for you isn't he? especially when you break up with him later on, or get sick of him and he becomes mr obsessed stalker. I mean, thats what you want, don'tyou.

I dont know if capture is a good word? Maybe you should change it to enlighten his heart.
I am going to try it, but I want to enlighten his heart.

I don't know about witchcraft, but I do believe the universe brings you what you think about. Always think in positive terms--negative terms will result in negative gifts from the universe.
