Freaky Friday would be good. No, I still can't figure out why that gave this day that ominous name. The first official day of the Christmas season should have a bright cheerful name. I know it's because this day makes or breaks a retail establishment's sales record, but Black Friday sounds more like a brother to Halloween.

Isn't Black Friday followed by Blue Monday? You will be black and blue if you go shopping at the mall today. I wear shoulder pads and a helmet when I shop the day after Thanksgiving. I take out an extra insurance policy before I shop at Walmart when they have their ten sale items for ten thousand shoppers special.

in america it would now be african american friday and in Australia it would be indigenous person friday. I dont know about all the other countries or if in Africa they celebrate white friday.
