That's actually brilliant. People will probably find it rude, but others might stick random things in the envelopes and send it back. Think of the possibilities here..

Stamps in the UK are now 28p. If anyone did that to me, I would send them back their envelope with a cheque for 27p.
I would also ensure that the cheque bounced.

Make sure to include a picture of yourself dressed in rags, with flies crawling on your face. You know, like all those famine babies. That really gets the cash flowing.
