Hey. If the turkeys have to suffer, why shouldn't we? It is nature's way of getting even. I think Hallmark Cards wrote the unwritten law. Is that an oxymoron? Can you speak the unspoken?

So you are thankful that Thanksgiving is over. Will wonders never cease? Just be thankful the relatives didn't fall in love with your house and decide they wanted to move in with you. Or did you do as planned and burn the turkey and make the stuffing so dry that they couldn't wait to get out of there? *wink*

I didn't spend my holiday with family. I made a tv dinner and watched The Simpson's on DVD. The way I look at it, my family couldn't be half as dysfunctional as Homer's , so thought I'd give it a try. *wink*

So what are your plans for Christmas?

I disagree with fairly some those human beings declaring you want to suck it up and bypass. if you're actually not comfortable there, for inspite of the actuality that reason, then you are literally not comfortable and also you mustn't experience obligated to bypass. you're being very functional such as your advice that they devour lunch with you and then devour dinner such as his family contributors. the placement right that's that you daughter is immature. No grown, mature female will be disenchanted over this and they actually does no longer be decreased to tears. How do you fix that? No clue. She needs to develop up and curiously she will take her sweet time about doing that.

Holidays are suppose to be times we share with our loved ones... that usually means family but not always!!! Do like me, move out of the country, then you no longer have to worry about this!! I forgot it was Thanksgiving.

Not me...I had nothing to do with it...
But do they listen? Noooooo.
"Chris is cooking Turkey and stuff , lets go all to his house this year...."
I am seriously considering eating the Thanksgiving meal at MacDonalds from now on.

Our scary aunts and cousins from out of town that we never see are the ones who write the best family rules!

Me too, I can't stand Thanksgiving actually; this year it was just my hubby, my daughter and I, and it was such a nice change from years past!

This is a subject I could go on and on about, actually.....

How can you write an unwritten law silly

I think that it was a senior citizen name Trad Ission who made that law. He's a stickler for being redundant and sentimental.
