I am 22 years old and I would say high school. Like 9th grade. Because it just looks crazy and too much when a young girl is alreadd trying to look older then what she is. I mean maybe its different if she goes to a dance or somehting-high heeled dress shoes would be fine. but as an every day thing with jeans and all that-highschool

It depends, I mean I would at least say about 10 or older, and even that I see is a little young. Maybe if your daughter wants to wear highheels but you don't feel comfortable yet, you could get the high heels that slant up instead of the ones that are seperate from the shoe. They will give her a little lift with out you feeling that you are losing you daughter. haha Well I hope this helped you. Hope you find the answer you are looking for.

It depends on the situation. My 3 year old daughter has a pair of plastic .75" heals that she wears when she is playing Dress Up, Princess, and so on. To formal events, they will be allowed to wear up to 1" wedges at any age (as long as they can walk fine). There is nothing wrong with that. But I'd always take dressy sandals or shoes just in case. I will let my daughters where 2" heels to their grade 8, 9 and 10 dances (if they have one) if they want to and if they can walk in them and for formal days. In grade 11 and 12, they can wear 3" heels to dances and for formal days. There's no need for them to wear heels higher than 3". 4" is as high as I will allow them to go, unless they buy them themselves. I would never let any of my children wear 5" heels, let alone a 9 year old.

Only to formal occasions the age is 14. Not to high though not above 2 inches. I am 23 and began wearing heels at 12, but i was tall and it just fit me.

I let my twin girls wear high heels when they started asking to, which was at 5. I really wanted to leave it up to each of them to decide when would be the correct time. They really liked the shoes in the catalogue I was reading, so the next week I took them shopping and got each of them matching brown leather AWOL Kids boots with 2 1/4" heel.

I got my first pair of heels when i was 13, however i wasn't allowed to wear them where ever I wanted. Only on like special occasions, and they were about 1 1/2 or 2 inches. They weren't anything crazy, and they didn't look really grown up.
When you feel she's ready and mature enough to wear them, thats when.

13, at that age she's officially a teenager and 5 years from adulthood. Just agree on the heel length and what the shoes look like, and help her learn how to walk in them so she doesn't fall down and have a really embarassing moment.

It depends on the maturity of the child. I don't like to see young children wearing tons of make-up and high-heels. I think children need to slow the growing process. I think highschool is an appropriate time--but no skeezy five inch heels or stilletos. Wedges are appropriate--they are playful and cute. Just as your child doesn't look like she is trying to be older than she is....ever see the movie thirteen? Just let them grow up in moderation......

I don't have a daughter, I'm not old enough. But 16 is a reasonable age I think.
