Actually, yes. When you are pregnant your body is housing two people. That takes a toll on your body and your immune system, while not depressed, needs all the help it can get. Most doctors will tell you that it's best for you AND the baby to get a flu shot.
If you were to get the flu while you are pregnant, you chances of having to be hospitalized and for having complications increases.
There is nothing harmful in the shot and it can only protect you and the baby by getting it.

I just had the Flu and I'm 15 weeks pregnant. It was horrible!!!!!!!! There is nothing you can take to make it better. I thought the baby was gonna come out of either end. So if you have a way you should definitely get the shot.

They want you too, but they tell you not to eat tuna and then tell you to get an injection full of mercury.
"Truth: According to the FDA, the mercury found in vaccines is an organomercurial, a known neurotoxin that can cause permanent damage to the brain and central nervous system, mercury is also a known reproductive and development toxin causing harm to developing fetuses and children, an endocrine disruptor (mimicking hormones) and a known carcinogen.19"
Also the chances of getting the flu are much smaller than propaganda would have you believe:
"Myth: The Canadian Health Network’s information page titled “Getting serious about the Flu” states that “Influenza (or flu) is a common respiratory illness affecting millions of Canadians each year.”6
Truth: According to the Canada Communicable Disease Report, the actual number of confirmed cases of influenza for 2001 – 2002 flu season was 6258, that means a whopping 0.02% of the Canadian population actually contracted influenza in 2001-2002.7 For the 2003-2004 year it was 11,435 cases of influenza, that’s 3.6 % of the population actual contracted influenza in 2003-20048, a far cry from millions."

I wouldn't. Why mess around with that unknown during this time? Eat healthy food, get exercise, minimize stress and don't introduce into your body something that may or may not keep you from getting the flu. Most healthy people don't get the flu and even if you do, it isn't likely to hurt your baby any way, the preservatives used in the flu shot may very well hurt your baby.

I wouldn't get a flu shot at all.
Think about it. How can they possibly know ahead of time every year what specific germ is going to invade? They can't...
I think you are getting something in that flu shot that they aren't telling the public about.
Think it can't happen?
They didn't tell anyone that the mercury they were using as a preservative in innoculations caused autism either AND THEY KNEW IT!

Yes. Imagine having the flu and not being able to take any meds to make yourself feel better. The doctor at my physical wouldn't let me leave the office without one when I was pregnant. Good luck.

i could ask the guy administering the shot in spite of if it extremely is risk-free to take when you consider which you're actually not feeling nicely. I certainly have sinus subjects too and that i take Zyrtec; it extremely is on the risk-free drugs record my healthcare expert gave me. additionally in case you're extremely stuffy get Ocean Water Saline nostril Spray it enables too. I continually took sudafed too for my sinus issues yet won't be able to now; Zyrtec enables alot it extremely is barely loopy costly.
