From my observations it seems a large percentage of fat people have glasses, compared to a small percentage of thinner people. Is this a coincidence, or is this the case everywhere?

Why don't you learnt to use punctuation? I'm asking a question based on what I've noticed. I'm only wondering.

There is no correlation between obesity and sight problems. Sight problems arise with improper care of eyes and a diet poor in Vitamin A or its precursors.

Interestingly, Vit. A is fat soluble, it dissolves in fat and stays there. Thus fat people can actually retain more Vit. A in their bodies than thin people and hence may actually have better eyesight !

Your observations would not be a representative sample from which to draw a conclusion. My guess, however, might be that skinny people care more about their appearance, so they might have bad eyesight, but wear contacts that you won't see.

No, fat people do not have vision correction in greater numbers than slender people. The size of a person makes no difference in their vision.

Yes they do. Because they are so heavy their face stretches and when it rains the water gets in under the eyes and makes their vision blurry. Its a know side effect of what is called in Latin "hugiovs sagivs facivs". True

They shouldn't have to wear specs at all, considering their eyes are bigger than their belly most of the time.
