All of a sudden, my wireless internet connection won't pick up my signal. I have roadrunner cable high speed online. My laptop has the wireless connection. It usually would pick up any non-secure connections, as well as secure connections, and I would always be able to connect. I was always unsure what the connections were to, and I guess I found out my connection was a secure network. I called Roadrunner, and fond out what key to type in, but something with the IP address is not right, so it won't connect. I am sick of the run around R.R. is giving me, so I thought I would ask here. Any suggestions?

It would have helped if you'd have typed the message your getting about the ip address. Try putting that into google and seeing what comes back.

My first solution with wireless network and connections is to turn both the PC and router off. Wait 60 seconds and turn the router back on. This will make it ask for a new IP address. When all the correct lights are showing on the router you can then turn on your pc.

Hope this helps.

Sounds difficulty-loose yet pass pull the skill on the router and the extender for a pair minutes, plug indoors the router first then the extender. Then pass from there. be sure for firmware updates and so on. only occurs with routers. in case you dont have any settings saved you additionally can use the reset button on the back.

1)Because ur connection is a wireless one maybe it's too far from ur router.

2)Check ur firewall, may be it is blocking ur connection,

3)Maybe there's a virus in ur PC-Scan ur PC as soon as possible.
