Do you shop there? Why do you like/dislike this store?

This is for an assignment and i need to hear customer opinions about the store.

It would also be great to hear from anyone who has worked there.

Thanks!

I really like it! My local one in Swansea is very relaxing and in a lovely old building (used to be a theatre). It has a very wide range of books and the staff are very experienced and helpful. What I like about W'Stones is that they have a section of books chosen as favourites by the staff and they've all written their reviews on them. It adds a personal touch and gives me inspiration.

I like it there. The store looks inviting and I like the offers coming up to Xmas and Easter. The staff usually know what I'm talking about and can direct me the right way unlike other stores where I've asked for a certain book but can't remember the title or author and I'm met with a blank look and an awkward excuse that means, 'Why did you ask me, I want to pretend I'm not here'.

I like it in there. The stores always have a really relaxing atmosphere and many of them now even have a "Costa Coffee" store inside them.

Their book selection is the best on the high street and the staff are knowledgeable.

I think the shop is nice and the staff can be quite friendly and responsive but I'm not happy that they don't stock my published books.

I think W H Smith is also ok but loosing that thought now since the security guard started following my dad around the shop.

Not much to say, apart from it sells lots of books and its ok to spend 20 mins or so there browsing through what they have. I reckon they should have a little coffee/tea area put in the stores so you can read up over a quick cuppa!

I like Waterstones - it feels more like a library than a bookstore to me. You get left in peace to browse for hours and hours if you like and the variety of books is brilliant.

I love the place its like an aladdins cave.Could quite easily loose track of time in there. However every thing has its drawbacks and having to pay is very restricting,if like me your always broke[sob, sob].i have found it to be expensive, but you pay for what you get and the staff have been very obliging when ordering books.NIce for gifts and special books.Otherwise i stick to the good old library for general reading and one off novels

Genereally i find the store to be well stocked and it's easy to order tiltles that are unavailable at the time.
The staff seem to be well informed and are helpful.
