I can remember the theme tune.

James the cat do do do do do.............."

Oh I hated that programme. The theme tune was dreadful too, but has managed to stick in my brain for the last 20 years.
"My name's James (la la la la la) James the Cat.
Chasing Birds and Butterflies
James the Cat"
Uurrgghh.
Citron the Frog, Dennis the Welsh speaking pink Dragon and Freda the Kangaroo. I hated them all!!!!

Yeah wasnt he chasing a butterfly at the beginning of each episode while the whole Jaaaaaaaames the Cat song was going on?

Nope but then again I spent my childhood doing healthy things like playing sport rather than sitting in front of a TV.

It was very twee, but the theme tune stuck in my head something rotten.
