We've all, I'm sure, heard the rumors of his demise. First off, if he were dead and the powers that be know, why would they not release this information to the masses? Second, are we at all sure that he was the evil menace that they proposed in the first place?

I believe he took credit for it, but then again if you have a major issue someone is usually ready to take credit for it even if they didn't do it. Unless he pre-recorded interviews before hiis demise, I would say he is alive. It seems like a long time to hide out in a cave.
