No, but then you buy them the gift of professional cooking lessons.

Most community colleges offer them, and you could take it with them, making it a date night, instead of just class.

I would never tell him that he can't cook. The solution for us is to cook meals together. I can watch what he is doing and how long things are cooking without him realizing that I am monitoring the quality of his food.

I agree with Jo. Since you're married to him/her, it's best you be honest with him/her. Sometimes it's much more better to be honest than keep the truth from them, cuz if you say that their cooking is wonderful, they'll really think they're really good cooks, and maybe embrass themselves in front of their mates, and at the end, you'll be the one who would be blamed for not being honest.

the answer is yes, my wife is a great cook though...sometimes she experiments with diffrent cooking ideas and i dont like it so i tell her....but 99.8 % of the time everything she cooks is great, now my ex-wife....she couldnt cook at all and i always let her know that....thinking back i couldnt tell you how much we had to eat out (fast food) when i was with my exwife, one good thing came from it though...i learned how to cook alittle better then.

it is best to be honest witht he person your with...and you can say it in a way that wont hurt their feelings...because if your husband/wife finds out that you really dont like his/her cooking and you've been lying to them they will thinki what else has he/she been lying about? If you love him/her and he/she loves you there is no reason why you cant be honest with eachother

he knows he can't cook... other than cold cereal and Mac-n-cheese (Krafft Dinner for my Canadian friends!) He *could* cook if he wasn't lazy and he put an effort. I also don't like him cooking for the simple fact that he doesn't wash his hands after using the toilet and his hands stink.
