Pretty much OK. I did all the cooking and cleaning (minus frying a turkey) than my mother in law just had the nerve to tell me after dinner was over "I would help you wash dishes, but I've cooked chicken dressing this morning" Pause..... I cooked a friggen five course meal, plus to do the dishes is no more than rinsing and loading the dishwasher.

The food was great and I got to meet my son's girlfriend's parents. If he ends up marrying this girl, I'm eating my husband's gun. Other than that everything was lovely and as my mother once said, "I'd drown all my troubles but I can't get all of my relatives down to the river at the same time". Happy Holidays to all!

I made a great dinner for my kids and myself. Just as we were sitting down to eat my ex-husband showed up as if he had been invited all along. I couldn't very well throw him out in front of the kids on a holiday. Other than that it was great.

Later on my 12 year old said, "Mom, you got bamboozled". Pretty savvy kid.

I had to work. :( But at least everyone was really nice and cheerful at work, and there wasn't much traffic on the commute. So, I guess that was good.
