No, I believe not.
The "child's eyes" thing is a metaphor; it's not literally referring to the eyes. What it really means when you remove the imagery is to perceive the world in a simplistic way - without sophistication, which is the hallmark of the adult brain.
The world, unfortunately, is not a simple place. In order to survive, you need a degree of sophistication and the ability to process complexity. Children cannot do this; that's why they're dependent on adults. It is not desirable to be in this situation. That's why we grow up.
Fully functioning adults do not perceive the world simplistically. Therefore if you "see the world through a child's eyes" you are implicitly being childish.

Both are synonymous. You see, the essence of seeing through a child's eyes is to look at a world in a different perspective. But the essence of being childish is to act as a child would do. It is possible to see the world through a child's eyes, yet not be childish by thinking what a child understands about a situation, yet act responsibly like some adults would do. I.e. Children usually are carefree but as we get older, we take on more responsibilities. an adult seeing through a child's eyes is by being immature by nature yet you strive to be mature. while being childish means being mature yet being immature. I guess it is complex. It is only you who can give meaning to useless words.

Yes, it is possible. Thinking and doing are two completely different things even though they do go hand in hand. Plus, I don't think some authors who write children's books are childish.

Yes..I believe when you have kids its imparitive to try to see the world through their eyes. Some things look and seem so easy to us but take away our life experiances and skills and try to experience something for the 1st time is one of the hardest things a adult can do.

Yes, I do believe it's possible.....I haven't gotten quite to that point yet myself; I still act childish at times! But, as always, I'm working on it.....
