Good old fashion Johnson & Johnson baby bath wash, it has lots of oils to keep baby's skin soft and smooth. Also try lightly brushing babys hair, not their head, brushing the hair will help the scalp produce nature oil and help with the flaking

Mine has a lot too at the moment. I found that putting baby oil on his scalp and leaving it for a few hours softens it up. Then you can use your fingers to gently pry it off or use a baby comb to gently comb his scalp and then out of his hair.
Keep your baby on your knee entertained by a toy or something and they don't even notice you doing it.
Avoid soap it doesn't don't help it at all, in fact it helps cause a build up so when your bathing your baby use things that don't contain soap such as QV bath oil.

When my children were babies and got cradle cap i would put baby oil on their head where the stuff was and i would softly scratch it. It came off and wasn't a bother to them. I think most chidren get this.

rub on some baby oil, gently brush with a soft baby brush to loosen some
it won't all come off right away, and you don't want to irritate the scalp with the brushing
just do a little before bathtime, so you can wash the oil off afterwards

it is common to all babies. just put some baby oil on the scalp, leave it for 3 hours. gently massage the affected area to loosen the scale and wash it with baby shampoo.

It's normal. But I used to put baby oil on my kids, and it worked pretty good. Let it sit for awhile to soften it up. Then wash. In time, it will be gone.
