It's either there or not there. I'm sure that you're lovable in other ways.

C'est la vie. It's just life, some do, some don't. I'm sure you have other attributes that are just as enviable to others.
A sense of humour also develops with age. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. Try to see the funny side in things, it's the only way to get through life sometimes !

Being whitty & having a sense of human comes naturally & also from being well-informed about whats going on in the world.
Read, watch tv, go places, meet people & try to see the humour in things. Have a drink or 2 to loosen up around people.. I dont mean to give bad advice but it works!

I understand you perfectly! You do have a sense of humor ... you're just not letting it out. This is what you do: If you think of something funny blurt it out - don't try to analyze (just make sure its not offensive, okay?). Next, don't try too hard -laugh and enjoy the sense of humor of the others (well, someone's got to listen and appreciate it, right?) Next, just relax, it will come to you when you are. And just like what the others said: be yourself and be knowledgeable about what's happening around you so you have ammunition for your humourous remarks!

I KNOW.
It's like an innate talent for some & not so for the rest of us, that don't make you any less special though...
I'm sure you're full of other 'gifts'^_^
I can't tell you just the numerous times I wish I had a witty comeback toward people who were possibly sarcastic/ funny or whatever.
You probably could achieve it, by watching sitcoms, observing others who display a knack for quick humor & practise.
Good luck.

It's not a contest.... just be honest.
Honesty can create the funniest notions. You don't need a special talent to make people laugh. Just stating the facts can be unexpected and humorous.
Don't be afraid to offend people. People aren't as easily offended as you might think.
Sometimes people who are funny are actually miserable - so if your happy, don't stress yourself out trying to be funny. Some people just come across as desperate to be the centre of attention (ie. Jack Black). ick. You know what they say about clowns right - they are some of the saddest people.
Anyway - you probably have more valuable talents.

i have a sense of humour because i always get things wrong.. well really you can't call it a sense of humour it's just clumsiness. don't worry about it if you don't have a quick sense of humour you make it up with something else.

I just looked at some of Emzies questions and answers and boy is she not funny at all.
Just watch a lot of comedy, and then remember the jokes if you see a similar situation. That's a good start.

I wouldnt worry about it. I know people that are always trying to be funny just to get attention from others and they are so annoying, I would rather just be friends with a nice genuine human being that from time to time can be funny and its just natural. Just be yourself, and people will love you for who you are.

You cannot buy a sense of humour, you should just lighten up and it will come naturally!
