going through some really hard times, Cause her husband just died. But she's going wild with men, not paying attention to her children any more. But you have been through the same thing and know whats going on with her, Should you talk to her, and if so How do you bring this up?

Sounds like she could use a friend...if your kids are buds with her kids, invite them over one day..or go out to a park with the kids if they're young enough to enjoy that... Or just invite her over one day with the kids..or out for a swim at the pool somewhere...etc... Just ask her how shes been...and maybe say, you know its none of your business but you're a bit aware of whats been going on with her lately and you want her to know you've actually been through the same thing...maybe say, you know how hard it is...tell her something that helped you through and if she needs someone to talk to you've been there so you understand... be short and sweet the first time you bring it up... Maybe next write her nice card...Christmas time is coming up, good time to let her know someones out there if she needs a friend

How do you know she is going through hard times? Maybe her husband was abusive toward her or she was unhappily married and now she is finally free...it's none of your business what she does with her social life. You can invite the kids over for a playdate, but it is not your place to judge her.

You could always say to her that if she wants to talk to someone, she can give you a call and then give her your phone number if she doesn't have it already.
