this man-boy is actually 24 but he spends a lot of time at home, and we dont know why he wouldnt get a job. to avoid being insulted we never dare to ask him. my friend who has a 3 year old son is in love with this guy. theyre both of the same age but the dude acts like hes 18....what should i do? can he still change?

The only thing you can do is tell your friend your concerns, and then leave it alone after that. Will he change, if he is a mama's boy at 24 he will likely be one at 34, 44, and 54....

Single mothers have a hard time realizing that a man will accept her and her child. Maybe she thinks this is the best she can do. Try to remind her of the misery she will suffer if she continues to date this guy. Also, ask her what kind of a role-model is this man-boy for her child?

All you can do is advise your friend, you can't make her stop liking the guy. But their are a few things that you can point out to her, Like how will you all survive? since he does not work, or have any work ethics. And he is so immature, for his age. Tell her the energy should be on her daughter. instead of bringing or up this guy! Say to her I, as a friend want the best for you, and he is not the one, may be you can't see it, but I hate to see you waste so much wasted energy on him, tell her to work on herself!

Oh, he can change but probably won't unless he is required to do so. Telling friends they are in love with a turkey is not a good way to keep friends. :)
