The Broncos have lost two in a row and I keep hearing more and more people calling for Plummer to be sent shuffling off to a place like Buffalo in order to allow Cutler to take the reigns. Question is, with a slumping Plummer or rookie Cutler running the show, can this team still get into the post season? And a follow up...is it a good idea for this team to get in, or would you prefer to see them get a higher draft pick to help Cutler next season?

Without a doubt I think they'll still make it in. In order to take the West they'll have to at least tie with San Diego and have the better divisional record. Even if they don't and just get a wildcard that's still a playoff berth. I have faith in Jay Cutler. I think he'll breathe new life into a team demoralized by Plummer's poor play. It'll be exciting to see what he can do under pressure.

As for next year's draft, Shanahan knows how to trade for what he wants.

The way the offense is playing I'm not so sure they can. And that would be with or without Plummer at QB. Everyone is jumping so hard on the Cutler bandwagon that they fail to realize that even though the kid has some talent, he has yet to even take a snap in a real NFL game. There will definitely be a learning curve there for him.

Yes, they can make it with Plummer but I doubt they will be able to win the big game with Plummer but I'm not saying that Cutler could do it either.

I'd imagine the broncos, if they can win out, can still make the playoffs. Wether they can catch the Chargers is up for debate, but yes, I'd still say they can make it in.
Cutler gives them an extra option leading into next year, but I wouldn't give him a medal for valor until he takes his crunch time. Preseason he looked good, but that's what preseason is....it's the time you learn...after all, look at the raiders, who went 4-1, only to start 2-8.
Broncos probably will make it in, but take them as a wild card.

Yes, Only if they make a change at QB though.
