I don't mean philosophical questions or such, I mean ones that have definite canon answers, or require some speculation bases solely on what we know from the books and JK herself.

i think you should by the harry potter quiz book. it's "so you think you know harry potter". i think it's available on amazon... it worked for me! i think i kno who RAB is! i think it's Regulus A. Black. it works perfectly! he was killed by the death eaters. if he was destroying horcruxs, then of course he'd b killed. maybe he was better at acting a "mamma's boy" than Sirius? why would you want a question that you couldnt answer? then there isnt any point in it! did you know that you question contradicts your extra information? i shall try to give you some questions,

1)what was aunt petunia doing on the morning she found harry?

2)in which house is Blaise Zabini and why is he one of Slughorn's favourites?

3)which one of Harry's classmates transplanted his own ears onto a cactus?

4)describe the protective clothing item that the second years in herbology class dont want to be left with when they are potting mandrakes.

5)which sweet that the weasley twins invented turned neville into a bird?

6)how many galleons was arthur weasley fined for bewitching a car?

i hope these are hard enough for you.

Well I've never read any of the books or saw the movies but I'll give it a shot...

If Harry Potter is so magical, couldn't he have cast a spell to give himself perfect vision instead of wearing those glasses? I mean...that's kind of like a person who can walk normal but for some reason carries around a walker or a stick...

In book one, when Hagrid brings Harry to Diagon Alley for the first time, Harry hears a woman say "Seventeen sickles an ounce for Dragon Liver. They're mad."
Why is this an unlikely thing for a witch to say?

Hah - I think I have it!

When do the trio (Harry, Ron and Hermione) take Astronomy?

It is their mystery subject! we know they took the class because they took the OWLs exam. We know that the name of the teacher is Professor Sinistra and we know she's a woman because at one point someone refers to her as "That astronomy witch." But when do they take it? we never see them going to class, we don't know if they took it all the years, we don't know if it's just gryffindors or if they double up with hufflepuffs or something, we don't know what time the class is, how it fits in their schedule - nothing.

it's also interesting to wonder why we don't know anything about this professor!

What was Dursley like as a child? What made him become the man he is? Why did he think he could lock a child in a cupboard beneath the stairs and get away with it?

How many total combined pages has she actually published? That is, compared say to Dickens or Tolstoy, how many pages do all of her books add up to be? It is one way to judge her as a prolific writer.
