Why do women go to a Gynacologist, shouldnt it be called a galnacologist ? Why is it still called a manhole cover and not a PERSON hole cover ?

No, because "men" isn't the plural of man. It comes from the old word for "month", which in turn is derived from the same word as "moon".

Of course, you're trolling, so I'm only doing this for the two points, and for future readers who are searching for a sensible answer to this question.

Well. English evolved as it is. And the fact is you have to accept if like that. You can see many examples such examples,

Man - Woman
Policeman - Policewomen etc

But there are some words that evolved differently but they have some different sort of meaning for its evolution.

No one can explain them but, you have to accept them. Thats it
