Well, ping is all about your internet connection. If you have a high ping, it means that you either have a weak internet connection, or something is interfering. Also, sometimes it depends on the connection of the host. If one person has loooowww ping, and everyone else has like 999, then you know the host has a REALLY bad connection.
If high ping is a problem contionouly, then i would check on getting a new router or something.

Take my advise and don't gambol on line, how can you beat a computer that knows what you have in your hand ??
You will get led on with a few low wins but then will be taken to the cleaners.
Remember you are playing a computer that of course knows what you are holding, it's not a random thing.

Shutdown all other apps
stop and downloads etc
look on Google for modifying your MTU size
download tcpdoctor
Tweak things liek your MTU iuntil yuo get a better latency time
you may find your connection is as good as it can get.

pause downloads, dont stay on chatrooms or anything similar, close windows explorer or get a faster internet
