several book store chains have books on just that they have books on drawing just about anything bottom line though is that all drawings can be broken down to their bones i.e. their super structure which is always made up of geometric shapes, circles, ovals, squares, triangles and retangles start with these take and picture of someone, lay it down and put tracing paper over it then break it down to those
shapes repeat the process with lots of pictures and pretty soon you will start to see characters in terms of those shapes now draw your butt of as many characters per day as you can get time for and within a few months you will be surprised how well you do keep checking out the library for drawing books all have great tips and ideas about how to improve your drawing.
